What's going on, Warrior Soul Nation? This is Chris Albert. Welcome to Warrior Soul podcast. This is where we deliver tools, tactics, strategies, and ideas to help The US military veteran community and everybody else willing to listen to live their absolute best lives. What's up, guys?
I you might have noticed I haven't been publishing as much as I used to. I used to publish this podcast three times a week. And lately, I've been publishing more like once a week. And a lot of times, I'm also replaying past episodes. And then a big reason for that is, well, one, I published so much content on this podcast that I feel like there's a lot of people who haven't listened to past episodes that should be listening to some of these, so I put them out there.
The other thing is, you know, I don't think I'm that important that I need to fucking open my mouth every week. And that's something that I think we all need to learn. Right? Because in this society today where anybody can publish themselves, anybody can can get up onto a pedestal, we all have to learn that we're not as important as we think we are in our own minds. And I'm not just gonna sit here and blab your ear off about nothing for, you know, thirty five minutes each week just because I feel like my voice is so important and that you need to hear from me and all that jazz.
What I do think is important is that we stick together as a community. As I've always said, US military veteran community is the sleeping giant in this country, and we are the key to the future of this country. Why? Because we've done things, seen things, accomplished things that only a small percentage of the population of this great country could ever claim to have done. And it's all locked up in this awesome mass of humanity known as the veteran population.
Alright? And, you know, I think people have a lot of stereotypes about veterans, a lot of lot of ideas about what veterans are, about what veteran identity is. And to some extent, you know, some idiots in our community put out a bad impression. And I think it's incumbent upon the rest of us, those of us who are out here putting our time in, to to create awesome lives, trying to to to give back, trying to make things happen for us and for other people more importantly. I think it's really important for us to have our voices heard and for us to step up.
And so here's the deal. I'm asking you, you know, if you're doing something cool, if you're doing something awesome out there, let me know about it. Alright? Let me know about it. Send me a message over on Instagram.
My handle is at Warrior Soul Agoge. That's a g o g e. I wanna know about it because I either wanna be talking to you or I wanna be highlighting what you're doing. And and listen, guys, don't don't send me the same old stuff. Right?
There there's gotta make it special. Gotta make it something that's really giving back. Right? I wanna know how you're impacting your community. I wanna know how you're impacting this community.
I wanna know how you're helping those around you. I wanna know how you're innovating. I wanna know what you're doing to change the world, what you're doing to impact this planet, what you're doing to to make life better for other people. And and let me know. Right?
Like, put it out there. Take it as a challenge. And if you're not doing something yet, maybe maybe this is your time to start. Right? Either way, I wanna know about it, and I wanna talk to the rest of the community about it.
So that's a big thing there. For those of you who don't have much going on, right, For those of you who are sitting back and maybe you don't have much going on because, you know, you haven't tried, maybe you don't have much going on because you have it in your own head that you're not able to. This has been a constant theme of this show, and it's something I wanna repeat right now. You know, we're here on this planet, and we're doing this thing we call life. And we don't know what happens when we die.
Right? We got no control over when we die. We have no control over, you know, what happens afterward. We have no control over how long we get here on this planet. And we do one of two things with life.
We can look at all the bad stuff, and we can sit back. We can complain. We can, you know, sit there and do nothing, or we can actually get up and do everything we can to make this life awesome. And it's up to each and every one of us to make the most out of the time we got. You get the same chance that I get, and I get the same chance that you get.
Alright? We all come from different places. We all have different resources when we're born, but each of us has a finite amount of time on this planet. And it's really, really important that you use it as well as you can. I'm a bit older than most of you who listen to the show.
A lot of you are in your twenties and thirties. I'm in my forties. And I'm just telling you from experience, there's nothing worse than looking in the mirror and wondering what you did with the last few years of your life. Right? And and, you know, it's it's an empty feeling.
Right? It's a it's an awful feeling. It's a feeling that you let a lot of chances go. It's a feeling that that, you know, you you you feel like an asshole, literally, when you you look at what you missed out on because you were bitter, because you couldn't get yourself in the right mindset to see the positives all around you, the chances that you have all around you. So get up and do something.
And when you do, like I said, I wanna hear it. So that's honestly all I got for today, guys. I'm I'm looking for inspiration from all of you. I'm looking for inspiration from this community. I can't wait to hear what you guys are working on, and I'll be back at you when I hear back.
Alright. I'll talk to you guys soon. This is Chris Albert with Warrior Soul podcast, and I am out.
