What's the worst thing that can happen if you try...
I don’t know many people who’ve ever truly failed in life.
That may sound optimistic, but I also don’t know many people who’ve ever tried to succeed anything truly meaningful. Most people I know have taken the safe route in life.
That’s understandable. The safe route means security, paychecks, and no struggle. Who wouldn’t want that?
The flip side of the coin is that I also know a lot of unhappy people. People who hate their jobs and hate their lives because of it. I also know a lot of people who are unhappy with their bodies and with their health.
What good is it to be completely safe but extraordinarily unhappy?
The good news is that you don’t need to risk it all to begin improving your life.
If you want to start a business, in the internet age you can start a side hustle with minimal overhead and a bit of extra work.
If you want to train but don’t think you have the time, you could be doing pushups and squats in your own living room.
And if you’re having doubts, ask yourself: what’s the worst thing that could happen? The answer is probably nothing too bad.
