I Just Bought Another Property and Other Updates
I haven't done an episode in a bit, so I thought I'd update you guys on where I'm at. I recently purchased a second property, which is a big deal for me because just a few short years ago, I thought owning any property would never happen for me.

What is going on, ladies and gentlemen? Welcome to another edition of the Warrior Soul podcast. My name is Chris Albert Palmitessa, and this is this show is about delivering tools, tactics, strategies, and ideas to help The US military veteran community and anybody else willing to listen to live their absolute best lives. Been doing the show for a long time now. I tell you the truth, I don't even know how many years.
I think it's seven. Done a lot of episodes, I have persisted through a lot of difficulty to bring this show to you. I have gotten to speak to some amazing people, you know, people like Robert Greene, the author of the 48 Laws of Power, people like Eddie Gallagher, US Navy SEAL, you know, and and most of all, the audience members who've contacted me and told me how much this show has helped them. Every time I've thought about stopping this show, somebody always contacts me and they let me know how much the show has impacted them, how much it's helped them, and I gotta say, I really appreciate that. You know, I don't make money from the show, I don't earn anything from it, it's not my job, but getting that, that's what makes it truly worth it for me, and that's what keeps me going.
That being said, I've been kinda lax on episodes as of late. It's been about two weeks since I've last put out an episode, and I wanted to get to you with something. And I didn't really have a clue of what I was gonna talk about today, but I figured I might as well talk to you about what has been keeping me so busy. A couple of things. So one, I am well, I've just finished up purchasing my second home.
So I now own two properties here in the great state of Florida, investment properties. And I gotta say, it's it's a huge deal for me because, you know, just three years ago, I thought that even owning one house would never, absolutely never be possible for me. Now I own two, and they're rental properties. And I gotta say this, man, like, you never know what's possible for you until you you get out there and you try. You actually apply yourself and do something, you know?
Because I could be just sitting here right now and and talking to you about how much my life sucks or like how much how I never had any opportunities or or how I didn't have a dad growing up or how I grew up poor or anything like that. And and you know what, I did grow up poor, I didn't have a dad to teach me anything or anything like that, but but I did have opportunity, opportunity to learn. I had the opportunity to grow up in one of the best times ever where we can learn anything on the internet or on the podcast. Right? Like, that that's absolutely awesome, you know, and and I'm grateful for that.
I'm truly grateful for that opportunity. The other thing that's been keeping me busy is that I've gotten my Florida real estate license, and I've been working commercial real estate in addition to running the manufacturing company that I'm running. So I I basically have three jobs. I'm I'm a real estate investor, I'm a real estate agent, and I am the general manager of a factory here in Florida. And so been doing that on top of doing stand up comedy.
And everything's been going great, but one of the products of this whole thing has been realize that I can't do everything. You know, I can't be everywhere. I I still have a a partner, my wife. I call her my wife, we're not really married, but I call her my wife because we've been together so long, that I have to take care of, I have to spend time with. I still, you know, have, I still work out, I wanna take care of my body, I'm never gonna let that go ever.
And you know, I I I have a lot of things I have to do. So what it's coming down to now is I've gotta pick and choose. And you know what, I've been doing this journey for a long time. I don't I think this podcast is going to survive whether or not I'm doing episodes every week. Alright?
Because you guys have been on this journey with me long enough to know that I'm gonna keep doing them, and I'm still gonna try to get get them done every week. It's just being out there in the world and not really just theorizing about doing stuff is different from sitting here every week and talking to you about doing stuff. So just know that if if I'm not publishing as much as I used to, it's because I'm out there fighting this war, fighting this battle to to get ahead, and and that's not easy. But man, I've got some awesome things coming up. Comedy has been going really well.
I just did a show last night in Fort Lauderdale. I've got another show coming up in Ave Maria, Florida. I'm working on some sketches that I'm gonna be doing with some fellow comedians. We're also working on another big veteran show that we'll be doing around Veterans Day at the Miami Improv, and I'm working on that with some local comics. And comedy's just been absolutely outstanding.
Like, I've done a lot of amazing things in my life. I've I've, you know, done some I've served in the military, I've I've, you know, competed as a bodybuilder, competed as a power lifter, that all felt good. I've also done some negative things that felt really good like drugs, right? But I gotta say that comedy gives me the best feeling that I've ever had. When I go up on stage and I'm making people laugh, and they're they're uncontrollably laughing, getting off of stage after that, you have the best feeling in the world running through your veins.
It's it's absolutely outstanding, and I've never felt anything like it, and I wanna keep doing it. And luckily, I'm in a place right now, you know, down here in South Florida, Fort Lauderdale, Miami area, you could do comedy every night if you want to. There are so many places that are putting on open mics, and so many great comedians down here to learn from. It's absolutely awesome. But, yeah, it's kinda where I'm at right now, guys.
Some of the stuff going on out there, I look, I know this economy is throwing everybody for a loop. Inflation is going crazy. The biggest thing I can tell you guys is this, you know, as somebody who's been through a lot of tough shit, just keep pushing forward. Don't worry about the world what the world's gonna do. You can't control inflation.
Right? You can't control the economy. What you can control is what you're gonna do. And my suggestion is to always focus on what you can control. Keep taking care of your body, keep taking care of your family, keep loving your family, keep loving those around you, keep working towards your goals, your dreams.
Alright? And the economy's gonna do what it's gonna do. That's that's as much as I got to say on it, you know, because I can't sit here and and tell you, you know, do this financial thing or do that financial thing or or, you know, or I can't tell you that it's all gonna be good because I don't think it's all gonna be good. But I do know that if you do those things, if you take care of your health, if you love the people around you, you love your family, you take care of your family, And if you keep working towards your goals diligently with discipline, then it's all gonna be okay. Alright?
It's all gonna be okay. And that's all we can ever ask for, you know? That's it guys. I just wanted to get on here and give you an update. I haven't had time to, to really get some guests on, but I'm gonna be working on that.
Haven't had time to like prep for a discussion, but I'm gonna be working on that as well. And, I just wanna get on here and tell you that I love you all. That's it.
